I am going to attempt to say “Thank You” to everyone who helped make our sixth Annual “It’s Fall Y’all!” Vendor & Craft Festival a huge success. I sure hope I don’t overlook anyone and I apologize if I do.
Von Perry, I cannot thank you enough!! You are so valuable and hardworking (helping set up, dragging out trash cans, organizing prize tables, working games, cleaning up, etc). I wouldn’t want to do an event with anyone else!
Thank You’s to: Jenkie’s Journey gentlemen, you guys were life-savers (as usual) by helping with games, packing pumpkins, breaking down and putting away games and prizes, and more! Lily Messer from the Y-club who worked Pumpkin Bowling all day, you were so helpful! Angela Fultz for organizing music and announcing throughout the day. Richie Williams for providing and working the sound for our musicians. Dalton and Blade Conley for helping with set-up, running errands, working at whatever asked, clean-up, and more. The two young ladies who judged the vendor booth decoration contest (Gracie & Keelee), I so appreciate your willingness to judge! Thank you all!!
To our amazing youth musicians, who donated their tips to the Belcher and King families…Alivia Wagoner, Corey Hedge, Ty Stinson, and Keelee Overbee; you are all so very talented! Thank you for sharing your talent with us and your love with the families.
To Primary Plus-Grayson, we appreciate the First Aid station you set up for our event. Thank you so much!
To our vendors; THANK YOU ALL for coming!! We sure hope you all did wonderfully and plan to come back next year!
To our informational and political booths; thank you all for coming and for supporting us by setting up!
To everyone who came to shop, eat, play, and enjoy the day; thank you for supporting our festival!
To the city maintenance workers; thank you for your hard prep work and efforts to make the depot area look beautiful. Also, for coming in during some electrical problems. You are so appreciated!
Finally, to our sponsors; your financial support helps us to be able to put on this festival. Platinum sponsors: Dustin Howard For Carter County Judge Executive, Tackett’s Furniture, and Michelle Wilhoit Insurance. Gold sponsors: Donny Owens Excavating & Electrical, Jill York, Duane Suttles for Carter County Judge Executive, Sparks Funeral Home (George & Edith Sparks, thank you for the beautiful memorial WC picture that has been donated to WCHS), & Jeff May, Carter County Sheriff. Thank you all!
Happy Fall Y’all! Hope to see you next year!
