The following individuals were arrested and booked into the Carter County Detention Center over the past week. This list includes local arrests only. It does not include federal inmates being housed at or transported through the detention center.
- Angela Hanna, 50, of Olive Hill, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence, failure to wear seat belts, careless driving, possession of drug paraphernalia, first degree trafficking in methamphetamine, trafficking in heroin, inadequate muffler, third degree trafficking in a controlled substance – drug unspecified, and two counts of failure to appear, arrested and booked on June 1.
- Jonathan Nickols, 28, of Olive Hill, arrested by Carter County Sheriff’s Department, on charges of trafficking in heroin, first degree trafficking in methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia, arrested and booked on June 3.
- Michael Ludwig, 36, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Sheriff’s Department, on two counts of failure to appear, arrested and booked on June 3.
- William Parker, 31, of Olive Hill, arrested by Olive Hill PD, on two bench warrants and a warrant for being a fugitive from another state, arrested and booked on June 4.
All of the charges listed are arrest charges only, and do not indicate an indictment or a conviction for the charges in question. All subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
