Alice Joy (Debord) King, age 69, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed in peace at her home on November 12, 2021. Alice was born December 18, 1951, to William and Mary (Easterling) Debord.
Alice was a wonderful cook and baker, known for her confections, especially around the holidays. She expressed her love for family and friends through her cooking. She always made her guests feel welcome and never let anyone leave her home hungry.
Alice was known for her social personality and never considered anyone to be a stranger. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and riding down country roads with her husband.
She is survived by daughters, Diana Gregory (Matt), Billie Hamshaw (Junior), Virginia King-Horn (Paul), Alice Elliott (Jody), Crystal King (William), and Julia Dailey (Charlie): sons, Donald King (Kaleigh) and Kyle King (Sarah); 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Alice was preceded in death by her mother, father, and loving husband of 50 years, Dallas King, She is survived by 3 siblings, Linda Reynolds, Cathy Dailey and Donna Birthisel. Family and friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, November 15, 2021, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
