Mr. Billy McGranahan, age 80, of Flatwoods, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022 at his residence.
He was born Monday, March 23, 1942, in Lawrence County, Kentucky. to the late Cleveland McGranahan and Fannin Chaffins McGranahan.
Billy was a member of Faith Freewill Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 17 years, Norma Cumbo McGranahan; three brothers; Grover McGranahan, Garland McGranahan, James McGranahan: one sister, Glenda Gail McGranhan Nunn.
Billy is survived by one son, Marty McGranahan, one step-son: Nelson Lee, six daughters: Billie Rae McGranahan, Devona Thomas, Donita Dinkens, Donna Gail McGranahan, Denise Kay Lacombe, Delinda Stapleton; one step-daughter, Stephanie Libby.
Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Faith Freewill Baptist Church, Rush, Kentucky with Brother Rick Kitchen officiating.
Friends may visit 12 noon till 1 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Faith Freewill Baptist Church, Rush, Kentucky.
