Bruce Michael “Mike” Jordan

1969-2020

Mr. Bruce Michael “Mike” Jordan, age 51, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2020, at St. Claire Healthcare in Morehead, Kentucky.

He was born July 5, 1969, in Ironton, Ohio, a son of the late Calvin and Jaqueline Eaton Jordan.

Mike was of the Christian Faith and he enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph Jordan and Richard Jordan.

Mike is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Brianna Jordan and Brandon and Crystal Jordan, all of Olive Hill, Kentucky; one daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Zack Hedge of Olive Hill, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Lacey Jordan, Adalynn Jordan, Waylon Jordan, Eli Hedge and Colton Jordan; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Chuck and Venna-Jean Jordan of Owingsville, Kentucky, York and Maggie Jordan of Smithfield, Kentucky, and Brian Jordan of Olive Hill, Kentucky; three sisters, Faye Boggs of Ashland, Kentucky, Donna Metz of New Salisbury, Indiana, and Debbie Wilson of Pink Hills, North Carolina; and two special friends, Charlie and Lesia Cline. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 5, 2020, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother RD Porter and Brother Bobby Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Arms Cemetery in Carter County, Kentucky.

Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, October 4, 2020, and after 9 a.m. on Monday at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West Highway US 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164.

Zack Hedge, Brandon Jordan, Michael Jordan, Cody Jordan, T.C. Jordan and Winston Jordan will serve as pallbearers. Chris Boggs, Eddie Boggs, Josh Jordan, William Jordan, Tristen Jordan, Ethen Jordan, Jordan Metz, Jayce Metz and Jackson Metz will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Due to COVID-19 regulations, we ask that everyone wear a mask and practice social distancing.
