Connie Sue Leadingham Lemon, age 76, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023, at St. Claire Healthcare, in Morehead, Kentucky.
She was born January 12, 1947 in Carter County, Kentucky to the late Mackie Leadingham and Nellie Brown Leadingham Porter.
Connie was of the Baptist Faith. She loved spending time with her sisters, children and grandchildren and going places with her sisters.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Gomez Leadingham, James Mackie Leadingham, Lloyd Leadingham; six sisters, Berleda Stevens, Glenna Evans, Donna Owens, Sheila Kiser, Sharon Frazier, Alberta Craycraft and Rita Roe; three brothers in law, William Mosier, Rod Kegley and Tommy Craycraft.
Connie is survived by two sons, Chris (Stephanie) Callihan and Kevin (Jennifer) Lemon all of Clio, Michigan; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Alice Kegley of Mableton, Georgia, Vickie Mosier of Olive Hill, Kentucky; four brothers in law, George Kiser, Don Frazier, Clifford Roe all of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Jewet Owens of Emerson, Kentucky; one sister in law, Gail Leadingham of Lilburn, Georgia, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Hwy 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky with Brother Phillip Roe officiating. Burial will follow in the Biggs Hill Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, April 24, 2023, and after 9 a.m., Tuesday, April 25, 2023 until the service hour at Globe Funeral Chapel.
Timothy Callihan, Nicholas Callihan, Alex Lemon, Andy Mosier, Rick Mosier and Howard Taylor will serve as pallbearers.
Terri Ernst, Clifford Roe, Jackson Lemon, Don Frazier, George Kiser and Jewet Owens will serve as honorary pallbearers.
