Mr. Emory Stephens, age 63, of Webbville, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at his residence.
Emory was born March 21, 1959 in Elliott County, Kentucky.
He was the son of the late Ora and Delma Mae Gilliam Stephens.
He loved preaching the gospel, and spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, family members and his brothers and sisters in the Lord. Emory enjoyed his experimental projects.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister in law, Patricia Stephens, and one brother in law, Dean Laney.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Brenda Kay Kennedy Stephens; three daughters, Tabatha Stephens of Ashland, Kentucky, Stephanie Helmick and husband, Brandon of Morehead, Kentucky, Megan Mays and husband, Derek of Morehead, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Kenley Yates, Abigail Yates both of Morehead, Kentucky, Bobby Ashton Barber of Ashland, Kentucky, and Joshua Helmick of Morehead, Kentucky; five brothers, John Martin Stephens of Grayson, Kentucky, Edward Stephens and wife, Brenda of Cleveland, Ohio, Murdie Stephens and wife, Sandra of Grayson, Kentucky, Elwood Stephens and wife, Peggy of Grayson, Kentucky, Ora David Stephens and wife, Tammy of Hitchens, Kentucky; two sisters Thelma Jean Laney of Sandy Hook, Kentucky and Geneva Evans and husband, Doug of Rockwell, North Carolina along with many other friends and family that will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, October 23, 2022 at Grayson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 49 McCoy Road, Grayson, Kentucky 41143.
Friends will visit after 1 p.m. on Sunday, October 23, 2022 until the service hour at funeral home.
