Mr. John Wallace Brown, age 54, of Ashland, Kentucky, passed away Monday, May 3, 2021, at Scope Towers #2 in Ashland, Kentucky.
He was born November 8, 1966, in Rowan County, Kentucky, a son of Eula Gee Brown Stevens of Olive Hill, Kentucky, and the late Vernon Brown.
John was an avid U.K. Sports fan, enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Buell “Bucky” Stevens, and one sister, Kimberly Ann Brown.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Vernon “Doug” Brown (Jana) and Craig Brown (Teresa), all of Olive Hill, Kentucky; two sisters, Teresa Douglas (Jimmy) of Olive Hill, Kentucky, and Beverly Ann Thompson (Darrell) of Morehead, Kentucky; one step sister, Kimberly Roe (Charles) of Olive Hill, Kentucky; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Clifford “Tippy” Price and Brother Gayle Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Bradley Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West Highway US 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164.
Darrell Thompson, James Douglas, Christofer Brown, Zachery Norman, Nathan Douglas and Tyler Brown will serve as pallbearers.
