Mrs. Loveta Sue Foster Burnett, age 84, of Grayson, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, July 21, 2023 at her son’s residence.
She was born August 7, 1938, in Carter County, Kentucky, to the late James David and Tempie Bradford Foster.
Sue was a member of Carter Christian Holiness Church in Carter City. She enjoyed cooking, quilting, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Everett Rene Burnett; one granddaughter, Marsha Blevins; six brothers, Vernon Foster, Velton Foster, Chapman Foster, Junior Foster, Jim Foster and Cletis Foster; five sisters, Beatrice Daniels, Irene Campbell, Esther Carr, Geraldine Preston and Ann Lambert.
She is survived by two sons, Steve (Ruby) Burnett and Scott (Lisa) Burnett all of Grayson, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Ryan Rhodes, Makenzie Burnett, Adam Burnett and Missy Carty; one brother, Jack (Louise) Foster of Lloyd, Kentucky; one sister, Phyllis Spradlin of South Shore, Kentucky; her caretakers, Cortnea Greene, Roxanne Kegley and Amanda Rhoden, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, July 27, 2023, at Grayson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 49 McCoy Road, Grayson, Kentucky with Brother Jerry Jordan and Brother Bill Burnett officiating. Burial will follow in the Burnett Cemetery in Grayson, Kentucky.
Friends may visit after 11 a.m., Thursday, July 27, 2023, until the service hour at Grayson Funeral Home.
Sue’s family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
