Brent Michael King, age 17, a West Carter Senior of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022.
He was born Wednesday, April 13, 2005 to Michael King of Olive Hill, Kentucky and Jessica Salyer (Mike) Leadingham of Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Brent was a member of Unity Baptist Church. He loved to play football, participating in FFA, wrestling with his family, hanging out with his family and friends and especially making people laugh.
In addition to his parents, Brent is survived by four brothers, Allen Lee King, Gage Leadingham, Brayden Leadingham, Eian Leadingham all of Olive Hill, Kentucky; five sisters, Haylee King, Kristen King, Hannah King, Kaydance King and Abigail King all of Olive Hill, Kentucky along with many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m., Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky with Brother Jason Johnson and Brother Dwayne Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilson Cemetery, Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2022 and after 9 a.m. until the service hour on Sunday, October 9, 2022, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West Highway US 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164.
Michael King, Jason King, Allen King, Mark Dehart, Darrin King, Phillip Dehart, Bradyn Flener and Travis Jones will serve as pallbearers.
Hayden Hall, Cole Crampton, Isaiah Bond, Jacob Judd, Dwaylon Dean, and The West Carter Football Team will serve as honorary pallbearers.
