The following individuals were arrested and booked into the Carter County Detention Center over the past week. This list includes local arrests only. It does not include federal inmates being housed at or transported through the detention center, except those with a Carter County address.
- Lisa Bishop, 39, of Ashland, arrested by Grayson PD, on a charge of fourth degree assault (domestic violence) with minor injury, two counts of failure to appear, and a probation violation for a felony offense, arrested and booked February 7.
- Tommy Boggs, 49, of Grayson, arrested by Grayson PD, on charges of operating a motor vehicle on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, and failure of owner to maintain required insurance, arrested and booked February 7.
- Nathan Toler, 39, of Ona, WV, arrested by Boyd County Jail, on a charge of receiving stolen property under $10,000, and failure to appear, arrested and booked February 7.
- James Virgin, 19, of Greenup, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on two counts of failure to appear, arrested and booked February 7.
- Miguel Alcantara, 20, of Springfield, arrested by Grayson PD, on charges of second degree burglary, first degree criminal mischief, and harassing communications, arrested and booked February 7.
- Darrin Miller, 40, of Grayson, federal prisoner held in transit, for court, or to serve out time, booked February 8.
- Michael Affolter, 60, of Grayson, arrested by Grayson PD, on a charge of second degree fleeing or evading police (on foot), arrested and booked February 8.
- Christopher Keeton, 30, of Olive Hill, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle, arrested and booked February 8.
- Zachary Kinder, 27, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on three counts of failure to appear, arrested and booked February 8.
- Joseph Rhodes, 27, of Olive Hill, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence, no brake lights, failure to produce an insurance card, and failure to wear seat belts, arrested and booked February 9.
- Benny Kelley, 34, of Olive Hill, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle, arrested and booked February 9.
- Clinton Perkins, 38, of Louisa, arrested by Grayson PD, on a warrant for being a fugitive from another state, arrested and booked February 9.
- Patricia McCleese, 44, of Olive Hill, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on three counts of failure to appear, arrested and booked February 9.
- Robert Fosson, 56, of Grayson, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, failure to wear seat belts, giving an officer false identifying information, no registration receipt, failure to produce an insurance card, and failure to appear, arrested and booked February 10.
- Gregory Davis, 44, of Rush, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of failure to wear seat belts, improper registration plate, no registration receipt, no registration plates, failure to produce insurance card, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, and theft by deception, arrested and booked February 10.

- Ronald Carroll, 36, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, for failure to appear, arrested and booked February 11.
- Anthony Lawson, 49, of Olive Hill, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of failure to produce an insurance card, failure to wear seat belts, and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, arrested and booked February 12.
- Allen Johnson, 49, of Lancaster, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on three counts of failure to appear, arrested and booked February 12.
- Justin Davis, 32, of Morehead, arrested by Grayson PD, on charges of first degree criminal mischief, and failure to appear, arrested and booked February 13.
- David Hill, 37, of Olive Hill, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on a charge of flagrant non-support, and a warrant for parole violation, arrested and booked February 13.
- Edward Martinez, 18, of Fairdale, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of speeding 26 MPH or more over the speed limit, reckless driving, first degree fleeing or evading police in a motor vehicle, first degree wanton endangerment of a police officer, failure to wear seat belts, trafficking in marijuana (less than eight ounces), improper display of registration plates, no registration receipt, and failure to produce an insurance card, arrested and booked February 13.
