Bobby Ray Litteral, age 75, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Monday, October 30, 2023, at his residence.
He was born Saturday, June 12, 1948, in Carter County, Kentucky, to the late James and Viola Crank Litteral.
Bobby was a member of Carter Christian Holiness Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening taking care of his livestock and spending time in his barn.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years, Loretta Oakley Litteral; seven brothers, Clifford Litteral, Robert Litteral, Charles Litteral, Louie Litteral, Roy Litteral, Norman Smith and David Smith; three sisters, Ida Smith, Ruby Taylor and Thelma Roland.
He is survived by two sons, Louie Ray (Brandy Aidt) of Olive Hill, Kentucky and Gerald (Amy) Litteral, of Grayson, Kentucky; one daughter, Bobbie Ann Litteral (Donnie Parker) of Grayson, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Kelly, Madison, Katlynn and Avery; three great-grandchildren, Ava, Ellie and Benny; two brothers, Gary Smith and Mike Litteral both of Butler, Ohio; one sister, Jessie Pack of Butler, Ohio: two nieces that were like sisters, Nancy Day and Patty Bourgeors, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Friday, November 3, 2023, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Hwy 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Jerry Jordan and Brother Bill Burnett officiating. Burial will follow in the Tabor Cemetery in Olive Hill.
Friends may visit after 11:30 a.m., Friday, November 3, 2023, until the service hour at Globe Funeral Chapel.
Avery Stone, Lucas Wolfe, Ben Brown, Charlie Buckler, Scott Fultz and Gerald Oakley will serve as pallbearers.
