James Elwood Blevins, age 83, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Winsor Care Center in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky.
He was born April 13, 1940, in Carter County, Kentucky, a son of the late Hanford and Nancy Mosier Blevins.
James enjoyed going out to eat, traveling, going to bluegrass festivals, reading and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Lyda Gilbert.
James is survived by his wife, Marta Bailey Blevins; two daughters, Kimberly Jones and Kelly Henson both of Terre Haute, Indiana; three grandchildren; one sister, Susan Wyatt of Dover, Ohio, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
At the family’s request there will be no service at this time.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may by made to Windsor Care Center in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky.
