James Ryan Fitchpatrick, age 30, of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023, at his residence .
He was born Monday, May 11, 1992, in Rowan County, Kentucky, a son of Tina Porter of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky.
Ryan enjoyed playing golf, disc golf, basketball, and enjoyed all sports, and was an avid Ohio State Fan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip Barber; grandfather, Rex Porter, grandmother, Carrie Fitchpatrick; a special aunt, Pam Carroll.
In addition to his mother, Ryan is survived by three brothers, Jordan Barron, Gabriel Barber both of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky and P.J. Barber of Florida; one sister, Cori Fitchpatrick of Mt. Sterling; his grandmother, Glenna Carroll Porter; his Nana, Donna Barber; a special uncle, “Lurch’ Carroll; his best friend, J.D. Maschino, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral service will be held 5 p.m., Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Hwy 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky with his special friend

Friends may visit after 3 p.m., Saturday, May 20, 2023, until the service hour at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Cody House, Jared Jones, Johnny Neil, Carey Anderson and Jake Maze will serve as pallbearers.
Kyle Porter, Dustin Porter, Garrett Carroll, Joe Chambers, Dimitri Hodge and Devin Carroll will serve as honorary pallbearers.
