Mr. John Paul Bair Sr., age 80, of Grayson, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Kings Daughter Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky.
He was born May 8, 1943, in Carter County, Kentucky, a son of the late Sarah Hall.
He enjoyed farming and taking care of his cows, going to auctions and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Arnie Sargent, David Sargent, Michael Sargent and Scott Sargent; one sister, Debbie Greer.
John is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Phyllis Adkins Bair; one son, Jon (DJ) Bair Jr. of Huntington, West Virginia; two daughters, Cynthia L. (Danny) McGlone of Grayson, Kentucky and Bobby Jo (Nick) Kormanak of Genoa City, Wisconsin; four grandchildren, Ashley (Adam) Mustain, Matthew Rodgers, Macy Kormanak and Ryan Kormanak; two brothers, Timothy (Cindy) Sargent and Tony Sargent; three sisters, Linda Sargent, Brenda Roseberry and Tina Ludwig along with many family and friends who will sadly miss him.
A Celebration of Life will be held privately for family and friends.
