Lacreeda Gail Hunnicutt Kouns, 90 of Grayson, KY passed away Monday, September 12, 2022, at her residence.
She was born May 24, 1932, in Wisconsin a daughter of the late Marvin and Beulah Kouns Hunnicutt.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E, Kouns; a son, Marvin Anthony “Tony” Kouns; two sisters, Roberta Felty and Iona Hunnicutt.
Lacreeda was a beloved Mother, Grandma, and GiGi. Lacreeda was a homemaker and member of the Willard Church of Christ.
Surviving are her son, J.P. (Pam) Kouns; two grandchildren, Krista Kouns and Allison (Preston) Welch; two great-grandchildren, Chloe and Briniey Welch; three sisters, Dreama (Jim) Adams, Violet (Robert) Carter, and Jackie (Milan) Kitchen, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be Thursday, September 15, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson, Perry Kouns and, Morris Shearer officiating. Burial will follow in the Kouns Family Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 15, 2022, 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
