Marie Pelfrey Braden, age 74, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at her residence.
She was born Thursday, February 16, 1950, in Carter County, Kentucky, to the late Jospeh and Anna Laura Davis Pelfrey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Braden Albert Butler; two brothers, Timmy Pelfrey, Joseph Pelfrey; four sisters, Mary Pelfrey, Dorothy Terry, Barbara Brickles, Montana Sue Pelfrey;
She is survived by one son, Billy Jack (Teresa) Braden of Morehead, Kentucky; two daughters, Beverly Joann Braden of Olive Hill, Kentucky and Rebecca Marie (Bob) McGlone of Carter City, Kentucky; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two brothers, Russell Pelfrey and Daniel Pelfrey both of Soldier, Kentucky; two sisters, Polly Johnson of Soldier, Kentucky and April Skaggs of Portsmouth, Ohio; along with many numerous family and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Hwy 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Darrell Puckett officiating. Burial will follow in the Eagle Hall Cemetery in Soldier, Kentucky.
Friends may visit after 9:30 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 2024, until the service hour at Globe Funeral Chapel.
Bob McGlone, Billy Jack Braden, Cade Weber, Noah Dehart, Chris Johnson and Dorsey McGlone will serve as pallbearers.
