Nancy Webb Shepherd, age 75, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at her residence.
She was born Monday, August 30, 1948, in Carter County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Ada Roseberry Webb.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her companion of 37 years, August Hamm; one son, Norbet Webb; one brother, James Wilburn; eight sisters, Linda Vasquez, Shelby Vasquez, Colleen Bays, Helen Rose, Lucille Wicks, Denise Arthurs, Charlotte Webb and Julivan Webb.
She is survived by two sons, Mike Webb of Olive Hill, Kentucky, and August Hamm of Morehead, Kentucky; one daughter, Angie Carter of Morehead, Kentucky; fourteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; one brother, Carl Webb of Olive Hill, Kentucky; two sisters, Naomi Crum of Mansfield, Ohio and Tonnie Jessee of Soldier, Kentucky, along with many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m., Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Hwy 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky with Brother David Rayburn officiating. Burial will follow in the Bradley Cemetery, Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Friends may visit after 1:30 p.m., Saturday, December 2, 2023, until the service hour at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Jake Watson, Hunter Shepherd, Ronnie Gipson, Tony Webb, Jeff Webb, and Billy Webb will serve as pallbearers.
