Carter County Quilts of Valor presented quilts to Willis Bond (left), of Elliott County, and Harry Thacker (right), from Olive Hill, at the Carter County Veteran’s Park in Grayson last week. Bond and Thacker served in both Korea and Vietnam. Bond is active in veterans’ affairs and Thacker serves as a volunteer chaplain with hospice in Ashland. (Submitted photos)
