GRAYSON, Ky.— Nurse practitioner Allison Riffe, APRN, is now seeing patients at King’s Daughters Pediatrics Grayson, 100 Bellefonte Drive, joining pediatrician Brad Akers, M.D., and nurse practitioners Brittany Bond, APRN, and Maria Sargent, APRN.
Riffe previously worked at King’s Daughters Cannonsburg Pediatrics Walk-In Care.
She earned her master of science in nursing, family nurse practitioner, and her bachelor of science in nursing from Kentucky Christian University in Grayson. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Pediatric providers care for patients from birth through young adulthood, overseeing physical, behavioral, and mental health development. They’re trained to diagnose and treat childhood illnesses, from minor health problems to serious diseases. This also includes administering immunizations and providing education and support to children and their parents.
