The Family Resource Center at Olive Hill Elementary School, and the Lexington Children’s Theatre’s Shooting Stars Youtheatre, will be hosting a pirate themed event at the Olive Hill Elementary School playground on Thursday, April 21, from 6 – 7 p.m.
The free walking event will allow kids to “discover how to become a pirate” with five different stations featuring stories presented by costumed actors and a free bag of treasures for each participant.
“All are welcome to a night of fun,” Donna Stamper, with the Family Resource Center wrote in a release.
Participants are encouraged to come as they are, or to dress like a pirate if they like.
