The following individuals were arrested and booked into the Carter County Detention Center over the past week. This list includes local arrests only. It does not include federal inmates being housed at or transported through the detention center. 

  • Elgin Gilbert, 26, of Henderson, arrested by Grayson PD, on four counts of failure to appear, arrested and booked April 21.
  • Bobby Harris, 18, of Grayson, arrested by Grayson PD, for failure to appear, arrested and booked April 22.Ā 
  • Terrance Porter, 49, address unavailable, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, for failure to appear, arrested and booked April 22.
  • Robert Fosson, 59, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Detention Center, weekender, arrested and booked April 22.
  • Shane Baier, 37, of Grayson, arrested by Grayson PD, on charges of public intoxication on a controlled substance (excludes alcohol), first degree possession of a controlled substance (heroin), and giving an officer false identifying information, arrested and booked April 22.
  • Jacob Clifton, 23, address unavailable, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, for failure to appear, arrested and booked April 23.
  • Cecil Gordon, 41, address unavailable, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on a hold for court, arrested and booked April 24.
  • Jonathan Coleman, 35, address unavailable, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on a charge of second degree criminal abuse, arrested and booked April 24.
  • Tina Waughtel, 37, of Vanceburg, arresting agency redacted, for failure to appear, arrested April 7, booked April 24.Ā 
  • Hershel Satterfield, 74, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Detention Center, charges unavailable, arrested and booked April 24.
  • Megan Derossett, 32, of Morehead, arrested by Department of Corrections, on a probation violation (for a technical violation), arrested and booked April 25.
  • Tamara Miller, 54, of Willard, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, for non-payment of court costs, fees, or fines, arrested and booked April 25.
  • Colleen Jenkins, 47, address unavailable, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on charges of theft by unlawful taking or disposition – automobile valued at more than $1,000 but less than $10,000, possession of stolen mail, and theft of mail matter, arrested and booked April 26.
  • James Clark, 40, of Ashland, self-surrender, weekender, arrested and booked April 26.
  • Felicia Barker, 47, of Grayson, arrested by Grayson PD, on a warrant for being a fugitive from another state, arrested and booked April 26.
  • Haley Kiser, 24, address unavailable, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on charges of first degree wanton endangerment, and endangering the welfare of a minor, arrested and booked April 27.
  • Dustin Gulley, 41, of Grayson, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of reckless driving, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle, no registration receipt, failure to produce an insurance card, and no operator’s license, arrested and booked April 27,
  • Jonda Pfau, 44, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Detention Center, weekender, arrested and booked April 27.
  • Marlena Sammons, 46, address unavailable, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on charges of possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle, and alcohol intoxication in a public place, arrested and booked April 27.
  • Lisa Crumley, 53, address unavailable, arrested by Grayson PD, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance, arrested and booked April 28.
  • Dwayne McCoy, 51, of Grayson, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, no registration receipt, failure to produce an insurance card, inadequate silencer (muffler), and all other traffic offenses not listed, arrested and booked April 28.
  • Tyler Carter, 32, of Olive Hill, arrested by Olive Hill PD, serving a warrant for a parole violation, and on charges of receiving stolen property valued at more than $1,000 but less than $10,000, driving on a DUI suspended license – second offense (aggravating circumstances), first degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified), and possession of drug paraphernalia, arrested and booked April 28.
  • Ronald Bland, 34, of Olive Hill, arrested by Grayson PD, for failure to appear, arrested and booked April 28.
  • Hank Ferguson, 60, of Olive Hill, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of driving with obstructed vision and/or an obstructed windshield, vehicle a nuisance (noisy, etc.), no registration receipt, failure to maintain required insurance, failure to wear seat belts, and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcoholic substances, arrested and booked April 28.
