The following individuals were arrested and booked into the Carter County Detention Center over the past week. This list includes local arrests only. It does not include federal inmates being housed at or transported through the detention center
- Michael Russell, 43, of Olive Hill, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on charges of driving on a DUI suspended license, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, no registration receipt, no registration plates, failure to produce an insurance card, and driving with obstructed vision and/or windshield, arrested and booked November 27.
- Willie Greenhill, 36, of Olive Hill, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on charges of operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, no registration receipt, no registration plates, failure to produce an insurance card, inadequate silencer (muffler), possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, and failure to register transfer of a motor vehicle, arrested and booked November 27.
- Neil Skaggs, 38, of Load, arrested by Greenup County Sheriff, on a charge of contempt of court – libel/slander – resistance to order, arrested and booked November 28.
- Braxton, George, 28, of Morehead, arrested by Kentucky State Police, for failure to appear, arrested and booked November 28.
- Steven Juniper, 33, of Lima, OH, arrested by Olive Hill PD, on charges of theft by unlawful taking or disposition of items valued between $1,000 and $10,000, and failure to appear, arrested and booked November 29.
- Susan DeHart, 46, of Olive Hill, arrested by Rowan County Detention Center, serving a bench warrant for court, arrested and booked November 29.
- Ashley Dailey, 34, of Olive Hill, arrested by Olive Hill PD, for failure to appear, arrested and booked November 29.
- Phillip Porter, 39, of Olive Hill, arrested by Olive Hill PD, on charges including three counts of failure to appear, disregarding a stop sign, reckless driving, disregarding a traffic light or control device, speeding 26 MPH or more over the speed limit, improperly being on the left side of the road, failure to or improper signal, improper passing, operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, first degree fleeing or evading police (motor vehicle), and third degree criminal mischief, arrested and booked November 29.
- Rodney Stephens, 45, of Olive Hill, arrested by Olive Hill PD, for failure to appear, arrested and booked December 1.
- James Hale, 32, of Grayson, self-surrender, weekender, arrested and booked December 1.
- Chase Burchett, 23, of Olive Hill, self-surrender, weekender, arrested and booked December 1.
