Weekly arrests report: 5/24/23

The following individuals were arrested and booked into the Carter County Detention Center over the past week. This list includes local arrests only. It does not include federal inmates being housed at or transported through the detention center.

  • Morgan Miller, 34, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Circuit Court, on a charge of contempt of court – libel/slander – resistance to order, arrested and booked May 15.
  • Philip Porter, 39, of Olive Hill, arrested by Olive Hill PD, for failure to appear on a citation for a misdemeanor, arrested and booked May 15.
  • Alexandria Smith, 27, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County District Court, for non-payment of court costs, fees, or fines, arrested and booked May 15.
  • Shawn Zornes, 33, of Vanceburg, arrested by an unlisted agency, for failure to appear, arrested and booked May 15.
  • William Elliott, 46, of Grayson, arrested by Department of Corrections, on a probation violation (for a felony offense), arrested and booked May 16.
  • Destiny Fultz, 29, of Sandy Hook, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, for failure to appear, arrested and booked May 16.
  • Jessica McGuire, 31, of Olive Hill, arrested by Olive Hill PD, for failure to appear, arrested and booked May 16.
  • Kayla Carver, 29, of Olive Hill, arrested by Olive Hill PD, for failure to appear on a citation for a misdemeanor, arrested and booked May 17.
  • Janie Rawlins, 40, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Circuit Court, on a hold for drug court, arrested and booked May 17.
  • Robert Shenett, 54, of Grayson, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of failure to appear, no registration receipt, failure to maintain required insurance, failure to wear seat belts, reckless driving, first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) second offense, operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to or improper signal, arrested and booked May 17.
  • Johnny Tolliver, 36, of Grayson, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of second degree assault, and second degree criminal mischief, arrested and booked May 17.
  • Joseph Burton, 47, of Olive Hill, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, failure to wear seat belts, failure to produce insurance card, and no registration receipt, arrested and booked May 18.
  • Curtis Sloan, 54, of Olive Hill, arrested by Rowan County Detention Center, for failure to appear on a citation for a misdemeanor, arrested and booked May 18.
  • Dwayne McCoy, 50, of Grayson, arrested by Kentucky Department of Corrections, on a parole violation for a technical violation, arrested and booked May 18.
  • Jessica Prichard, 49, of Willard, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of failure to appear, communication device violation, failure to wear seat belts, careless driving, failure to produce insurance card, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance, first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), and operating a motor vehicle on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, arrested and booked May 18.
  • Jacob Colley, 21, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on charges of third degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified), first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), two counts of failure to produce insurance card, two counts of no registration receipt, two counts of operating a motor vehicle under the influence, no operators – moped license, failure to illuminate head lamps, failure to wear seat belts, and no operator license – autocycle, arrested and booked May 18.
  • Joseph Fultz, 58, of Kenova, WV, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, for failure to appear, and non-payment of court costs, fees, or fines, arrested and booked May 19.
  • Casey Holbrook, 32, of Olive Hill, self-surrender, for drug court, arrested and booked May 19.
  • Ashlee Matthews, 32, of Olive Hill, arrested by Olive Hill PD, serving a warrant for a parole violation, arrested and booked May 20.
  • Drew Rayburn, 29, of Olive Hill, self-surrender, weekender, arrested and booked May 20.
  • Damon Barido, 21, of Grayson, arrested by Grayson PD, on charges of failure to appear, and second degree fleeing or evading police (on foot), arrested and booked May 20.
  • Aaron Jones, 45, of Hitchins, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on four counts of failure to appear, arrested and booked May 21.
  • Dakota Brewster, 27, of Olive Hill, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance, no registration receipt, failure to maintain required insurance, possession of marijuana, failure to register transfer of a motor vehicle, rear license not illuminated, license not in possession, failure to wear seat belts, and failure to produce insurance card, arrested and booked May 21.
  • Carrie Hamm, 37, of Olive Hill, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, giving an officer false identifying information, and two counts of failure to appear, arrested and booked May 21.
  • Brett Bush, 39, of Grayson, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of speeding 26 MPH or more over the speed limit, operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, reckless driving, possession of drug paraphernalia, improper passing, and two counts of failure to appear, arrested and booked May 21.
  • Christopher Trent, 50, of Grayson, arrested by Grayson PD, on charges of failure to appear, and first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), arrested and booked May 21.
  • Caleb McGlone, 32, of Grayson, self-surrender, weekender, arrested and booked May 22.
