Weekly arrests report: 6/8/22

The following individuals were arrested and booked into the Carter County Detention Center over the past week. This list includes local arrests only. It does not include federal inmates being housed at or transported through the detention center.

  • George Bridges, 30, of Morehead, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on three counts of failure to appear, and charges of careless driving, rear license not illuminated, failure to wear seat belts, no registration receipt, failure to produce insurance card, and operating a motor vehicle on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, arrested and booked May 30.
  • Joseph Greenough, 38, of Bulls Gap, TN, arrested by Grayson PD, on charges of alcohol intoxication in a public place, and third degree assault – police officer, arrested and booked May 31.
  • Deanna Harris, 41, of Grayson, held by Carter County Circuit Court, for drug court, booked May 31.
  • Derek Crum, 41, of Louisa, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on charges of failure to appear, and contempt of court, libel/slander, or resistance to order, arrested and booked May 31.
  • Jessie Hamm, 41, of Morehead, arrested by Elliott County Sheriff, on two counts of non-payment of court costs, fees, or fines, arrested and booked May 31.
  • Lucas Gilliam, 32, of Isonville, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on a charge of failure to appear on a citation for a misdemeanor, arrested and booked June 1.
  • Shawn Underwood, 47, of Carter City, arrested by Olive Hill PD, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence, arrested and booked June 1.
  • Faith Taynor, 22, of Hitchins, held by Carter County Circuit Court, charges unavailable, booked June 1.
  • Bradley Wagoner, 39, of Sandy Hook, held by Carter County Circuit Court, charges unavailable, booked June 1.
  • Tyler Vance, 27, of Grayson, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of abandonment of a minor, first degree criminal abuse of a child 12 or under, third degree unlawful transaction with a minor, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and the sell/purchase of a child for adoption, arrested and booked June 1.
  • Alexis Vance, 24, of Grayson, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of abandonment of a minor, first degree criminal abuse of a child 12 or under, third degree unlawful transaction with a minor, and the sell/purchase of a child for adoption, arrested and booked June 1.
  • Kacie Tomlin, 24, of Grayson, arrested by Grayson PD, on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol – second offense, driving on a DUI suspended license, no registration receipt, failure to produce insurance card, careless driving, no operator’s license, and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle, arrested and booked June 1.
  • Alexis Baker, 22, of Grayson, arrested by Grayson PD, on charges of third degree terroristic threatening, second degree disorderly conduct, and menacing, arrested and booked June 2.
  • Austin Miller, 27, of Grayson, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on two counts of failure to appear, a probation violation (for felony offense), receiving stolen property valued at more than $1,000 but less than $10,000, two counts of non-payment of court costs, fees, or fines, two counts of first degree fleeing or evading police (motor vehicle), two counts of second degree fleeing or evading police (on foot), and two counts of first degree criminal mischief, arrested and booked June 2.
  • Wesley Meeks, 34, of Grayson, arrested by Kentucky State Police, for failure to appear, arrested and booked June 3.
  • Justin Fraley, 21, of Grayson, arrested by Kentucky State Police, for failure to appear on a citation for a misdemeanor, arrested and booked June 3.
  • Roy Brown, 44, of Olive Hill, held by Carter County District Court, charges unavailable, booked June 3.
  • Michael Affolter, 60, of Grayson, held by Carter County District Court, charges unavailable, booked June 3.
  • Matheny Knipp, 49, of Olive Hill, arrested by Grayson PD, on charges of careless driving, driving on a DUI suspended license, failure to wear seat belts, failure to maintain required insurance, non-payment of court costs, fees, or fines, and failure to appear, arrested and booked June 3.
  • Ladawna Tackett, 33, of Olive Hill, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on two counts of failure to appear, arrested and booked June 4.
  • Roger Barker, 33, of Ashland, arresting agency not available, on charges of no registration receipt, no registration plates, operating a vehicle with an expired operator’s license, and failure to produce an insurance card, arrested and booked June 4.
  • Neal Skaggs, 19, of South Shore, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on charges of alcohol intoxication in a public place, menacing, first degree disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and third degree assault of a police officer, arrested and booked June 4.
  • Kevin Barker, 43, of Olive Hill, arrested by Kentucky State Police, serving a warrant for parole violation, and on charges of theft by unlawful taking or disposition – more than $10,000 but less than $1,000,000, and non-payment of court costs, fees, or fines, arrested and booked June 4.
  • James Griffith, 59, of Rush, arrested by Grayson PD, on a charge of receiving stolen property valued at $10,000 or more, arrested and booked June 5.
  • Michael Middleton, 45, of Olive Hill, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on charges of first degree criminal mischief, leaving the scene of an accident with failure to render aid or assistance, and first degree wanton endangerment, arrested and booked June 5.
  • Timothy Hanna, 55, of Olive Hill, arrested by Grayson PD, on charges of receiving stolen property valued at $10,000 or more, and failure to appear, arrested and booked June 5.

All of the charges listed are arrest charges only, and do not indicate an indictment or a conviction for the charges in question. All subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
