The following individuals were arrested and booked into the Carter County Detention Center over the past week. This list includes local arrests only. It does not include federal inmates being housed at or transported through the detention center.
- Jason Ruth, 46, of Lexington, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of no registration receipt, no registration plates, failure to maintain required insurance, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, reckless driving, vehicle a nuisance, and rear license not illuminated, arrested and booked July 10.
- Ashley King, 35, of Olive Hill, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on three counts of contempt of court – libel/slander – resistance to order, arrested and booked July 11.
- Christopher King, 33, of Olive Hill, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on a charge of contempt of court – libel/slander – resistance to order, arrested July 10 and booked July 11.
- Brian Burnett, 37, of Hitchins, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence, and operating an ATV on roadway, arrested and booked July 11.
- Rae Ann Jackson, 42, of Webbville, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, for failure to appear, arrested and booked July 11.
- Macy Meenach, 22, of Grayson, arrested by Grayson PD, on a charge of contempt of court – libel/slander – resistance to order, arrested and booked July 11.
- Kimberly Hall, 41, of Richmond, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of failure to wear seat belts, failure to produce insurance card, no registration receipt, giving officer false identifying information, first degree wanton endangerment – police officer, first degree fleeing or evading police (motor vehicle), operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, reckless driving, rear license not illuminated, second degree fleeing or evading police (on foot), resisting arrest, and being a fugitive (warrant not required), arrested and booked July 12.
- Clayton Puckett, 52, of Olive Hill, arrested by Grayson PD, on charges of fourth degree assault (minor injury), and alcohol intoxication in a public place, arrested and booked July 12.
- Samantha Bond, 27, of Olive Hill, arrested by Department of Corrections, on a probation violation (for technical violation).
- Sherry Barker, 42, of Grayson, arrested by Greenup County Sheriff, for failure to appear, arrested and booked July 12.
- Michael Ludwig, 37, of Grayson, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of receiving stolen property valued at more than $1,000 and less than $10,000, destruction of a VIN number, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), failure to wear seat belts, and possession of drug paraphernalia, arrested and booked July 13.
- Michael Parsons, 40, of Olive Hill, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on two counts of non-payment of court costs, fees, or fines, and failure to appear on a citation for a misdemeanor, arrested and booked July 13.
- Travis Parsons, 43, of Olive Hill, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), and two counts of non-payment of court costs, fees, or fines, arrested and booked July 13.
- Jason Runyon, 40, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, for failure to appear, and two counts of non-payment of court costs, fees, or fines, arrested and booked July 13.
- Christopher Mabry, 23, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on a probation violation (for a felony offense), and non-payment of court costs, fees, or fines, arrested and booked July 15.
- William Kitchen, 45, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, for contempt of court – libel/slander – resistance to order, arrested and booked July 15.
- Timothy Tackett, 24, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, for failure to appear on a citation for a misdemeanor, arrested and booked July 16.
- Austin Kilgore, 19, of Olive Hill, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on a probation violation (for a felony offense), and a charge of first degree trafficking in a controlled substance (less than two grams of methamphetamine), arrested and booked July 18.
- Brian Romans, 43, of Grayson, arrested by Grayson PD, for failure to appear, arrested and booked July 18.
