Weekly arrests report: 9/7/22

The following individuals were arrested and booked into the Carter County Detention Center over the past week. This list includes local arrests only. It does not include federal inmates being housed at or transported through the detention center. 

  • Ishmael Henry, 48, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on two counts of failure to appear, arrested and booked August 30.
  • Glenn Hollars, 33, of Monticello, arrested by Kentucky State Police, for non-payment of court costs, fees, or fines, arrested and booked August 30.
  • Shawn Brown, 33, of Olive Hill, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, for non-payment of court costs, fees, or fines, arrested and booked August 31.
  • Michael Hedge, 50, of Olive Hill, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of driving with obstructed vision and/or windshield, failure to wear seat belts, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, no registration receipt, failure to produce insurance card, and first degree possession of a controlled substance (heroin), arrested and booked August 31.
  • Melissia Stewart, 53, of Grayson, arrested by Grayson PD, on charges of fourth degree assault with no visible injury, fourth degree assault (domestic violence) with no visible injury, and carrying a concealed weapon, arrested and booked August 31. 
  • Joseph Elam, 35, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, charges unavailable, arrested and booked August 31. 
  • Barren Barker, 28, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, charges unavailable, arrested and booked August 31.
  • Brandon Fraley, 35, of Grayson, arrested by Grayson PD, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, license not in possession, improper equipment, and operating a motor vehicle under the influence, arrested and booked September 2. 
  • Tyler Ratcliff, 18, address unknown, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on two counts of failure to appear, and a charge of second degree burglary, arrested and booked September 2. 
  • Mikeal Hypes, 30, of Danese, WV, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on charges of speeding 5 mph over limit, and operating a motor vehicle on a suspended or revoked operatorā€™s license, arrested and booked September 2. 
  • Regina Broughton, 45, of Rush, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, for failure to appear, arrested and booked September 3.
  • Joseph Fultz, 57, of Sandy Hook, arrested by Grayson PD, for failure to appear on a citation for a misdemeanor, and failure to appear, arrested and booked September 3. 
  • Matthew Haywood, 35, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, for failure to appear on a citation for a misdemeanor, arrested and booked September 3. 
  • Dennis Watts, 44, of Norocross, GA, arrested by Grayson PD, on charges of second degree disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest, arrested and booked September 3. 
  • Nathan Callihan, 46, of Olive Hill, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, for failure to appear, arrested and booked September 4.
  • Hansel Wells, 61, of Olive Hill, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on four counts of failure to appear and charges of first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), and possession of drug paraphernalia, arrested and booked September 4.
  • Garvin Scott, 53, of Olive Hill, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of no registration receipt, no registration plates, failure to wear seat belts, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, first degree possession of a controlled substance (heroin), possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia, arrested and booked September 4. 
  • Luther Smith, 55, of Olive Hill, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, for non-payment of court costs, fees, or fines, arrested and booked September 4.   

All of the charges listed are arrest charges only, and do not indicate an indictment or a conviction for the charges in question. All subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
