The Grayson Chamber of Commerce has announced plans to migrate their web hosting and content management from their current provider, Wild Apricot, to a company called Locable. In addition to making the new website easier to navigate for visitors and the business community, Chamber coordinator Mike Nelson said, it will also allow Chamber members and other businesses and community organizations to create their own free web presence that can be linked to the community through the Chamber portal.
In addition, he said, the contact management system will allow the chamber to better keep track of its members and their needs and contact information.
The new site will also include a community calendar that will help tie together all community events in the county, for view in a single location.
The new website is expected to launch at the end of this month, with full calendar functionality by the end of the year.
