Pleasant Valley Cemetery Flag Pole Raising

 Army National Guard members from the 201 Olive Hill National Guard hoisted the first flag over the Pleasant Valley Cemetery on Saturday. Garrett Nickoson, Donald Palowich, Joshua Gulley, Chase Hall, Travis Steagall, and Dutch Chapman came out to present the flag and perform taps, in honor of the soldiers buried there, while the flag was raised for the first time. The flagpole was donated to the cemetery by Richard Capps and Phil Stone, both are graduates of Olive Hill High School with parents and family buried in the cemetery. (Photo by Jeremy D.
