Ronnie Virgle Rogers, 66, of Carter County went to be with his Lord Thursday, August 29, 2024 at the Best Care Health and Rehab Center in Wheelersburg, OH. Ronnie was born August 8, 1958 in Columbus, OH a son of the late, Harold “H.V.” and Mennie Pearl Steele Rogers. In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by, two children, Daniel Griffith and Lisa Crockett; and a granddaughter, Jaclynn Ruth. Ronnie was the owner/operator of Roger’s Excavating and retired from Pike Electric. Ronnie attended Huff Run Church. Ronnie enjoyed riding his four-wheeler, fishing, operating heavy equipment, and spending time with family. Ronnie is survived by his significant other, Donna Rogers; two sons, Ronnie (Tammy) Rogers and Michael Rogers; three daughters, April Rogers, Jackie Greer and Misty Griffith all of Carter County; five grandchildren, Savannah Rogers, Kegan Gollihue, Blake Rogers, Jacob Rogers and Shayla Rogers; five great-grandchildren; Brycen Ellerbee, Aleeah Steagall, Jeremiah Gollihue, Kayson Ellerbee and Elijah Gollihue; ; two sisters, Janet (David) Wade and Mennie “Ro” (Tony) Daniels; three brothers, Anthony “Boo” (Rhonda) Rogers, Doug (Tammy) Rogers, and Stephen (Lyn) Rogers all of Carter County; and a host of friends and extended family who all mourn his passing. Combined funeral services for Ronnie and his Mom, Mennie, will be 1 pm Saturday September 7, 2024 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Bro. Delmar Rogers and Bro. Dennis Young officiating. Burial will follow in the Rogers-Messer Cemetery on Huff Run. Visitation will be 6-9 pm Friday and after 9am Saturday until the service hour.
