It is with great sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of an immeasurably wonderful, loving, compassionate, and caring young man, Conner Lee Stafford. Conner went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Monday July 8, 2024, at his home in Olive Hill, Ky. He was the son of Joesph “Joe” and Patricia “Patty” Stafford and the little brother of Erica and Austin Viars and Jacob Stafford. His loyal companions Archie and Keanu. He was born March 19, 2010, in Ashland, Ky.
Conner was entering his freshman year at West Carter High School where he was working hard to be a Varsity Football Player. He had a love of the outdoors like no other and could be found most of the time with a fishing pole in his hand. He also loved hunting and spending time working on his family’s farm. He loved spending time with his family most of all. He was a kind and generous soul who always had an encouraging word or a joke and a bit of humor for those around him. He would greet you with his infectious smile, his beautiful red curly hair, loving eyes, his energetic and enthusiastic outlook for the world and his big arms and heart of gold. The greatest legacy of Conner’s young life will be having such a big heart, being kind, compassionate and generous towards all those around him.
The ripple effect of his short, but purposeful life will be forever carried on by his parents, Joe and Patty Stafford of Olive Hill, KY; his sister and brother in law, Erica and Austin Viars of Grayson, KY; his big brother Jacob Stafford of Olive Hill, KY; his grandparents, Papaw Danny and Nana Phyllis; his Papaw Bill Hall; his Uncle Chris and Aunt Lacy Stafford; cousins, Gemma Stafford and Betty Hall; his Aunt Alberta Lawhorn of Olive Hill, KY; cousins, Brooklyn, Mackenzie, Kara, Carmen, and Addy; his Uncle and Aunt Albert and Regina Budde; cousins, Steven, Aiden, Macey, and Samuel; Aunt and Uncle Valerie and Shawn King; cousins, Cory, Zack (Paula), Austin (Cindi), Taylor (Kyle), Motley and Morello; Aunt and Uncle Teresa and Tyler Larson; cousins, Tristin, Teagan, and Jacob; Uncle and Aunt Timmy and Jolana; cousins, Laekin and Shayla; Aunt Lisa Lawhorn; cousins, Benjamin and Natalie, and an unlimited amount of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Great Grandmother Mamaw Berthie Lambert, his grandmother’s Patricia “Patty” Lawhorn and Betty Hall; his grandfather, Papaw Buddy Hall and his great Uncle Plummer.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday July 15, 2024, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Hwy 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky with Brother Phillip Rowe officiating.
Friends may visit on Sunday July 14, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday July 15, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Globe Funeral Chapel.
