1938-2021
Mrs. Helen Louise Fisher Birchfield, age 83, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, May 29, 2021, at her residence, with her loving family at her side.
She was born April 24, 1938, in Grahn, Kentucky, a daughter of the late James Arthur and Edna Paynter Fisher.
Louise was a loved and cherished member of the Church of Christ Church in Olive Hill, Kentucky. She enjoyed going to church, working in her garden, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Asa Birchfield; one son, Donnie Fisher; one grandson, Craig Birchfield; four brothers, James Fisher, Harold Fisher, Charles Fisher and Bob Fisher; and one sister, Jackie Steagall.
She is survived by one son, Eddie Birchfield (Cheryl) of Olive Hill, Kentucky; one daughter, Nancy Boggs (Heith) of Olive Hill, Kentucky; two granddaughters, Shayna Pezzone (Mike) of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Kaylen Boggs (Logan) of Cincinnati, Ohio; one grandson, Sam Boggs of Olive Hill, Kentucky; two brothers, Terry Fisher (Bonnie) of Tampa, Florida, Larry Fisher (Ellie) of Mansfield, Ohio; one sister-in-law, Freida Fisher of Mansfield; and also a very special friend, Sandy Duncan, of Olive Hill, Kentucky. She also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will sadly mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Shawn Hatton and Brother Brent Duncan officiating. Interment will follow in the Garvin Ridge Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2021, and after 9 a.m. Wednesday, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Highway 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
