Kenneth Ray McCoy, age 75, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
He was born July 17, 1949, in Carter County, Kentucky, a son of the late James and Mary Jane Suttles McCoy.
Kenny retired from Carter Caves State Park with many years of service and deeply loved his job and being outdoors. He was a strong Christian and enjoyed going to church. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by three brothers, James McCoy, David McCoy, Lonnie McCoy and two sisters, Sylvia Bombdrayer and Rose Sparks.
Kenny is survived by his wife of 45 years, Elizabeth Yarber McCoy; one son, Aaron McCoy of Olive Hill, Kentucky; one daughter, Sarah (Dean) McCoy of Morehead, Kentucky; one sister, Sue Mabry of Benton, Kentucky, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
At the request of Kenny’s family there will be no service at this time.
