Mr. Michael Aaron “Ralf” Tackett, age 44, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away, Sunday, February 28, 2021, in Elliott County, Kentucky.
He was born August 13, 1976, in Mansfield, Ohio, a son of the late Billy Ray Tackett and Joan Mosier Tackett Carroll.
Aaron was of the Baptist faith and he enjoyed being outdoors, working in his garden, welding, building and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Neil Tackett.
Aaron is survived by one son, Jesse Wilburn of Grayson, Kentucky; one daughter, Whitley Tackett of Grayson, Kentucky; two sisters, April McDavid (Brent) of Olive Hill, Kentucky, and Billie Storiale (Michael) of Lexington, Kentucky; his maternal grandmother, Christine Mosier of Grahn, Kentucky; and his paternal grandmother, Carol Tackett of Mansfield, Ohio; his step mother, Lauretta Joan Barker Tackett; one step sister, Rhonda Gearhart (Rick) of Olive Hill, Kentucky; one step brother, Bryan Holbrook of Olive Hill, Kentucky; special nieces, Brianna Maxie (Greg), Marleigh Adams (Jacob) and Kierra Tackett; and special great nieces, Madison Maxie and Adyson Maxie. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 6, 2021, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Chris Glover officiating. Burial will follow in the Carroll Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2021, and after 9 a.m. on Saturday at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West Highway US 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Bobby Davis, Rob Jackson, Paxston Mosier, Jesse Mosier, Ronnie Rose, and Willie Hall will serve as pallbearers. Jacob Adams, Greg Maxie and Michael Storiale will serve as honorary pallbearers.
