Pauline Meade Holbrook, age 88, of Grayson Kentucky, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Carter Nursing and Rehabilitation in Grayson, Kentucky.
She was born Thursday, August 26, 1937, in Johnson County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late James and Hattie Greenhill Meade.
She attended Kirk Memorial Baptist. She enjoyed reading her Bible, going to church, cooking and spending time with her son and her dog Buddy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald Owen Holbrook; four brothers, Gene Meade, Norman Meade, Junior Meade, Joe Meade; three sisters, Ann Menix, Marie Branham and Irene Marshall; one nephew, who was raised as a brother, Tommy Fisher.
Pauline is survived by one son, Donald Ray Holbrook of Grayson, Kentucky; many nieces and nephew, along with many other friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Hwy 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Bobby Day officiating. Burial will follow in McKinney Cemetery in Olive Hill.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Monday, August 17, 2026, after 9 a.m., Tuesday, August 18, 2026, until the service hour at Globe Funeral Chapel.
