Raelyn McKenzie Paynter, age 17, of Huntington, West Virginia went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, June 18, 2024, due to injuries substained in a motor vehicle accident.
She was born Tuesday, July 4, 2006, in Huntington, West Virginia, a daughter of Jason and Amanda Michelle Caperton Paynter.
Raelyn was a member of Good Shepherd Holiness Church in Huntington, West Virginia, where she loved playing the piano and singing for the Lord. She enjoyed being outdoors, spending time with her family, especially her dog, Maddie.
In addition to her parents, Raelyn is survived by two brothers, Weston Paynter, Hudson Paynter; two sisters, Isabella Reece Paynter and Lainey Abbriella Paynter all of Huntington, West Virginia; paternal grandparents, Edward and Sharon Paynter of Gilbert, West Virginia; maternal grandparents, Charles and Kathy Caperton of Huntington, West Virginia, along with several uncles, aunts and cousins, and her church family and friends, who will sadly mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Christ Temple Church in Huntington, West Virginia with Brother Daniel Miller, Brother Curt Cordle, Brother Randy Webb and Brother Jonathan Roberts officiating.
Friends may visit to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2024, until the service hour at Christ Temple Church.
