Wanda Wilson Williams, age 87, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away, Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at Carter Nursing and Rehabilitation in Grayson, Kentucky.
She was born Sunday, March 21, 1937, in Carter County, Kentucky, to the late Ralph and Mildred Rogers Williams.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carol Williams and her daughter-in-law, Donna McKenzie Williams.
Wanda was an employee for Rupert’s Department Store for over 30 years. She enjoyed taking Sunday rides, working and spending time with her family.
She is survived by one son, Jerry Lyn Williams of Winchester, Kentucky; 1 grandson, Mitchell Shawn (Aleshia) McKenzie and 3 great-granddaughters, Katie, Abby and Kree, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, December 8, 2024, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Hwy 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother David Rayburn officiating. Burial will follow in the Garvin Ridge Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Friends may visit after 1 p.m., Sunday, December 8, 2024 at Globe Funeral Chapel.
Wayne Mitchell, John Goodin, Shawn McKenzie, Jacob Goodin, Caleb Mitchell and Mason Goodwin will serve as pallbearers.
