Wayne Jackson Biggs, age 78, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, went to be with his Heavenly Father, November 9, 2025, at UK-St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead, Kentucky.
He was born January 23, 1947, in Carter County, Kentucky, a son of the late Leonard and Inies Jordan Biggs.
Wayne was a follower of the Christian Faith and enjoyed a simple life of reading his Westerns, watching NASCAR and never turned down a home cooked meal. He enjoyed going out to eat, going to Tennessee, spending time with his family and his fur babies, Lucky and Buttons. Wayne made so many wonderful friends during his journey of life, through his 50 years at Biggs Auction.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy L. Biggs, George Biggs and two sisters, Betty Williams and Faye Smith.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Mary Alexander Biggs; two sons, Duane (Michelle) Biggs, L.A. (Tina) Biggs all of Olive Hill, Kentucky; two daughters, Jeannie (John) Carper of Carter City, Kentucky, Cathy Jobe of Olive Hill, Kentucky; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law whom was thought of as a brother, Bert Williams, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Globe Funeral Chapel with Brother L.A. Biggs officiating. Burial will follow in Biggs Family Cemetery.
Friends may visit after 11 a.m., Thursday, November 13, 2025, until the service hour at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Hwy 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky.
John Carper, Bruce Palmer, Louis Biggs, Seth Biggs, Josh Tackett, Danny Jo Holbrook, Hunter Marshall, Austin Marshall and Ryan Williams will serve as pallbearers.
