Mr. William Arthur McHenry, age 69 of Denton, Kentucky passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021 at his residence in Denton, Kentucky.
He was born December 9, 1952 in Louisa, Kentucky a son of the late Arthur McHenry and Esther Jane “Reeves” McHenry.
William attended Denton Missionary Baptist Church. He received his wings on December 30, 2021 at his residence. He was a devoted family man and loved his family and loved his Lord and Saviour, and will be missed by a host of family and friends, and especially his good friend Clayton Ramey, who was his deer hunting buddy.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one sister, Janice McHenry.
He is survived by one son, Harry Gannon McHenry, of Denton, Kentucky, three grandchildren, Ethan McHenry and Jackson McHenry, both of Ashland, Kentucky, Makaya (Devonta) Adkins, of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, two brothers, Marvin (Peggy) McHenry and Merlin (Linda) McHenry both of Denton, Kentucky, one sister Betty Jean McHenry, of Denton, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m., Monday, January 3, 2022 at Grayson Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Brother Steve Owens officiating. Burial will follow in the McHenry Family Cemetery on Glenwood Road in Denton, Kentucky at a later date.
Friends may visit after 1:00 p.m. until the service hour at Grayson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 49 McCoy Road, Grayson, Kentucky for Mr. Bobby D. Johnson.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
