William Kenneth Butler, age 56, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Life Care Center in Morehead, Kentucky.
He was born Wednesday, June 25, 1969, in Rowan County, Kentucky, a son of William Bulter of Long Beach, California and the late Charlotte Burchett Butler Cornett.
Kenneth enjoyed woodworking, working on small engines, playing his guitar, fishing, hunting, playing cards and Bingo with his Life Care friends.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Curtis and Nellie Burchett.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his step-father, Ernest Cornett of Clearfield, Kentucky; three sisters, Julie Ann Butler of Clearfield, Kentucky, Lisa Scalf, Tammy Keathley both of Pikeville, Kentucky; 3 nephews, Jeff Scalf, Rylan Keathley and Daylan Keathley, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be held 11 a..m., Friday, July 25, 2025, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Hwy 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Stephen Ratcliff officiating. Burial will follow in the Butler Cemetery, Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Friends may visit after 9:30 a.m., Friday, July 25, 2025, until the service hour at Globe Funeral Chapel.
