Summertime is near! It’s also time for our annual show and Pride in the Arts. This year, simply inclusion, diversity and love for all will be the theme. Artists are invited to share their original artwork this month at the Grayson Gallery for this exciting annual event with a fun evening planned. Artists and the public will be invited to attend the Opening Reception on June 28, from 6 – 9 p.m.
All artists who wish to participate in the show may submit up to three pieces, in any medium and include any subject. Each submission will be accepted, regardless of theme or subject matter.
Submissions will be accepted on two separate dates, on Saturday, June 22 and/or Monday, June 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day at the Gallery, 301 E Third Street, in Grayson.
There is no entry fee. Works must have the artist’s name, title, medium, and a price on the back, or tagged for 3D pieces. Photos, drawing, or paintings must include wire hangers or other means of hanging. All work currently on hand may also be picked up during the above dates.
Forms may be requested via email or social media, to be completed prior to the drop-off date, or they will be available in-house as well.
Cash awards at $50 each will be given for the People’s Choice Award, chosen by popular vote; GGAC Board Choice; the Pen Lady choice – or purchase; and the Brandon Click Memorial Award, given by our family.
NOTE: Due to the large number of pieces and artist turnout expected, dates will not be extended in order to have the exhibit ready for the opening.
