The Olive Hill Center for Arts & Heritage is hosting its annual “Valentines on the Hill” event on Friday, February 9, 2024. Dinner will be served and includes choice of spaghetti with marinara, fettucine alfredo, breadsticks, salad, and a dessert. Drinks include water, tea, and coffee. Doors open at 6 p.m. for dinner, with the show starting at 7 p.m.
This annual show features local talent performing a variety of “love” themed songs and skits. Performers include Angela Fultz, Amy Greene, Christopher Stephens, Debbie Harman, Elaine Brunelle, Norm Brunelle, Madison Caplinger, Josh Caplinger, Greg Collinsworth, Tiffany Kennedy, Kiersten Harris, and the WCHS/OHCAH Choir, along with Kayla Middleton directing a performance piece featuring our local children.
The event originated with “Love Our New Beginnings,” which started after the last phase of renovations was completed nearly a decade ago. During that phase of renovation, the third floor of the historic Olive Hill High School was refurbished. Since then, it has served as the home for the Olive Hill branch of the Carter County Public Library.
Dinner tickets are $25 per adult and $10 per child. Dinner tickets must be purchased by Wednesday, February 7. Show-only tickets are free, with a $10 donation request. We offer show-only tickets for free to help break down financial barriers for those who might be interested in attending our events but might not otherwise be able to afford to come. We ask for a $10 donation if you come to the show, but it is in no way required to come to view the show. Show-only tickets are available online or at the door.
