If you have a child in elementary school this year, or want to help support the needs of students in our community, the Olive Hill Elementary Family Resource Center wants to invite you to their Back to School Fall Kick Off this Friday, August 2, at the Olive Hill Elementary School.
The event, for students at Olive Hill, Tygart Creek, and Carter City Elementary Schools, and West Carter Middle and High Schools begins at 10 a.m. and runs through 2 p.m.
In addition to school supplies, Retro Salon will be offering free haircuts to get kids ready for that first day back, while various other businesses and agencies will also be set up, providing items, services, and information to families.
