When life feels uncertain, God’s Word gives your heart something steady to stand on. His promises remind you that you are not praying into emptiness – you are praying to a faithful God who hears, sees, and responds in His timing.
His Presence will be with you – Joshua 1:9. He will never forsake you – Hebrews 13:5. He gives wisdom to those who ask – James 1:5. He hears our prayers – 1 John 5:14. He forgives the repentant – 1 John 1:9. He provides for your needs – Philippians 4:19. He gives strength to the weary – Isaiah 40:29. He works all things for good – Romans 8:28. He gives peace to the faithful – Isaiah 26:3. He comforts the brokenhearted – Psalm 34:18. He guides those who trust Him – Proverbs 3:5-6. He gives rest to the burdened – Matthew 11:28. He is faithful to His Word – Numbers 23:19. He gives Hope for the future – Jeremiah 29:11. He rewards those who seek Him – Hebrews 11:6. He gives grace to the humble – James 4:6. He protects those who take refuge in Him – Psalm 91:4. He gives eternal life through Christ – John 3:16. He finishes the work He begins – Philippians – 1:6. His love never fails – Lamentations – 3:22-23.
When you pray, 1) State the PROBLEM. 2) Find the SCRIPTURE. 3) Speak the PROMISE. 4) Pray with EXECTATION.
- If you need WISDOM pray James 1:5. God, you said if I lack wisdom, I can ask you and you will give it. So, I am asking You to lead me, correct me, and make the next step clear.
- If you need deliverance, pray Psalm 34:17. God, you said when the righteous cry out, you hear them and deliver them from their troubles. So, I am crying out to you. Deliver me from what is holding me or pulling me away from you.
- If you need God to take care of your finances, pray Philippians 4:19. God, you said You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. So, I am trusting you with what I cannot figure out. Give me wisdom, provision, discipline, and peace.
- If you are praying for your family, pray Acts 16:31. God you said if I believe in you, I will be saved – me and my household. So, I am standing in faith for my family. Draw their hearts closer to You and cover our home.
- If it feels like more than you can bear, pray Psalm 55:22. God, you said to cast my burden on you, and you will sustain me. So, I am giving you what feels too heavy for me. Hold me, strengthen me, and help me not carry this alone.
- If you need peace, pray Philippians 4:6-7. God, you said when I bring everything to you in prayer, your peace will guard my heart and mind. So, I am bringing this to you instead of carrying it in fear.
- If you feel weak, pray Isaiah 40:31. God, you said those who wait on you will renew their strength. So, I am choosing to wait with expectation, not exhaustion. Renew what has been drained in me.
Prayer: Dear God, I know you are a promise keeper. Help me to speak your promises out loud every day. Help me trust your timing and believe that you are faithful to what you said.
Amen! So be it!
