The Grayson Police Department have now reportedly identified both the people they were seeking for questioning in a shooting incident that occurred Saturday morning (November 18) on Rupert Lane behind the 606 Bar & Grill / Casey’s Lanes Bowling. They have also questioned at least one of the men.

A post on the Grayson PD Facebook page following the incident included the photos of the two men. It said the department was seeking more information on the shooting, including information on the men pictured. The post further indicated that “a firearm was discharged 4 (four) times in the air,” and that “no one was struck or injured.”

The police department made their first post on the subject, seeking information on the two men pictured, at 8:49 a.m. Saturday morning. By 11:12 a.m. they updated the post to indicate they had located and were interviewing one of the subjects in the incident, but that the second subject had not been identified.

While an officer with the department confirmed on Monday morning that both men had been identified, he did not release their names, indicate if the second man had been questioned, or relate any details of their questioning.

While the initial post from the police department indicated four shots were fired, private security camera footage from a home in the area seems to capture audio of at least twice that many shots in rapid succession, followed by at least two further shots. A verbal altercation between the suspects can also be heard leading up to the shots, and further yelling and challenges can be heard from someone off camera who says he doesn’t have a gun.

The video also seems to show someone running away around the corner of the bowling alley property.

606 Bar & Grill owner Derrick McKinney took to his business and personal Facebook pages to combat rumors that the shooting took place inside the business. McKinney noted that the gun was discharged “in the parking lot next to Rupert (Lane) around 1 a.m.” on Saturday morning.
