Weekly arrests report: 12/13/23

The following individuals were arrested and booked into the Carter County Detention Center over the past week. This list includes local arrests only. It does not include federal inmates being housed at or transported through the detention center.

  • Dustin Gulley, 40, of Grayson, arrested by Grayson PD, on a charge of alcohol intoxication in a public place, arrested and booked December 2.
  • Amos Reynolds, 35, of Olive Hill, arrested by Olive Hill PD, on a charge of driving on a DUI suspended license, arrested and booked December 2.
  • Jason McDavid, 46, of Grayson, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on a charge of theft by unlawful taking, arrested and booked December 2.
  • Harlen Tackett, 73, of Grayson, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on a charge of theft by unlawful taking, arrested and booked December 2.
  • Brandi Barker, 43, of Olive Hill, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on a charge of first degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified), arrested and booked December 3.
  • Glen Russell Jr., 36, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, for failure to appear, arrested and booked December 3.
  • Steven Tanner, 40, of Morehead, arrested by Olive Hill PD, charges unavailable, arrested and booked December 3.

  • Tyler Sexton, 37, of Ironton, OH, arrested by Kentucky State Police, for non-payment of court costs, fees, or fines, and two counts of failure to appear, arrested and booked December 4.

  • Joey Salyers, 46, of Rush, arrested by Kentucky State Police, for failure to appear, arrested and booked December 5.
  • Jason Cooper, 38, of Olive Hill, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on a charge of third degree terroristic threatening, and three counts of failure to appear, arrested and booked December 5.
  • Joshua Young, 32, of Raceland, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, possession of drug paraphernalia, first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), rear license not illuminated, and failure to wear seat belts, arrested and booked December 6.
  • Amanda Bailey, 35, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on two counts of failure to appear, arrested and booked December 6.
  • Tina Waughtel, 37, of Vanceburg, arrested by Kentucky Department of Corrections, charges unavailable, arrested and booked December 6.
  • Ronnie Owens, 41, of Olive Hill, arrested by Kentucky State Police, for failure to appear, arrested and booked December 7.
  • Bobby Harris, 18, of Grayson, arrested by Olive Hill PD, on charges of receiving stolen property valued at more than $1,000 but less than $10,000, and instructional permit violations, arrested and booked December 7.

  • David Perry, 41, of Olive Hill, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of no registration plates, failure to wear seat belts, operating a motor vehicle on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, no registration receipt, failure to maintain required insurance, first degree possession of a controlled substance (heroin), possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia, arrested and booked December 8.
  • Kenneth Erwin III, 26, of Elkfork, arrested by Olive Hill PD, for non-payment of court costs, fees, or fines, arrested and booked December 8.
  • Heidi Butler, 47, of Olive Hill, arrested by Olive Hill PD, on charges of trafficking in a controlled substance (carfentanil or fentanyl derivatives), first degree trafficking in a controlled substance (two or more grams of methamphetamine), trafficking in marijuana (less than 8 oz.), second degree trafficking in a controlled substance (20 or more dosage unites, drug unspecified), and possession of drug paraphernalia, arrested and booked December 9.
  • Skyler Conley, 29, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on a charge of violation of a Kentucky emergency protection order/domestic violence order, arrested and booked December 9.
  • Kenneth White, 33, of Grayson, arrested by Grayson PD, on charges of first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), tampering with physical evidence, and possession of drug paraphernalia, arrested and booked December 9.
  • Ronald Bland, 34, of Olive Hill, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of failure to wear seat belts, operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, failure to produce an insurance card, and driving on a DUI suspended license, arrested and booked December 9.
  • Justin Peterman, 34, of Grayson, arrested by Grayson PD, on charges of first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), and possession of drug paraphernalia, arrested and booked December 10.
  • Frances Mayo, 37, address unavailable, arrested by Grayson PD, on charges of first degree possession of a controlled substance (carfentanil or fentanyl derivatives), first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), and possession of drug paraphernalia, arrested and booked December 10.
