ACTC nursing application deadline is March 31

ASHLAND – Ashland Community and Technical College’s Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program and Military Medic to Associate Degree Nursing Transition program is currently accepting applications through March 31, 2023.

The ADN program prepares graduates to become members of the healthcare team in the discipline of nursing.

According to Modern Campus Pathways via Lightcast, the average salary of registered nurse in the tri-state area is $59,576 with a projected growth rate of 4.8% through 2027. This data can be found on the ACTC ADN webpage.

Graduates of the ADN program are awarded an Associate Degree in Applied Science and eligible by coursework to take the NCLEX-RN. Successful completion of the NCLEX-RN and licensure by a Board of Nursing allows the graduate to seek employment as a Registered Nurse.

The ADN curriculum is organized around a clearly defined conceptual framework and combines general education and nursing courses. The courses correlate classroom and clinical instruction in a variety of community agencies.
