Carter County TimesAn Olive Hill man was arrested over the weekend on charges of possessing child pornography and of first degree sexual abuse of a minor, among other charges.
Lonnie Williams, 35, of Olive Hill was arrested by Kentucky State Police over the weekend on a variety of charges related to the use of underage persons in sexual performances and the sexual abuse of a minor. Williams, who is currently housed in the Carter County Detention Center, was arrested on Sunday. His charges include:
- possessing and viewing matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor;
- the prohibited use of electronic communication systems to procure a minor for purposes of committing sexual offenses;
- promoting the use of a minor, under age 16, in a sexual performance;
- and sexual abuse, first degree, of a victim under 12 years of age.
Additional information on Williams and his charges is not available at this time.
Also arrested over the weekend were:
- Tyler Back, 28, of Grayson, arrested by Grayson PD on charges of public intoxication.
- Mark Fannin, 55, of Olive Hill, arrested by Kentucky State Police for failure to appear.
- David Harlow, 42, of Grayson, arrested by Grayson PD on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence, open alcoholic beverage container in motor vehicle, failure to appear, and rear plate not illuminated.
- Travis Parsons, 42, of Olive Hill, arrested by Kentucky State Police for failure to appear.
All of the charges listed are arrest charges only, and do not indicate an indictment or a conviction for the charges in question. All subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
