Betty Jo McCleese Hall

1949-2022

Betty Jo McCleese Hall, 72, of Grayson went to be with her Lord, Saturday January 29, 2022 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.  Betty was born December 18, 1949 in Knightstown, IN a daughter of the late, Herman and Esta Gilliam McCleese.  In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 28 years, Kenneth “Mutt” Earl Hall; eight sisters, Millie Harrison, Gladys McCleese, Sarah Larson, Beulah Phillips, Eula McCleese, Millie McCleese, Mary Terry and Wilma Lowder; and eight brothers, Paul, Rupert, Wayne, Henman, Jr., Eugene, John, Patrick and Herman “Lefty” McCleese. 

Betty was a homemaker, devoted Christian, and had a love for music, cooking and quilting. 

Betty is survived by her children, James Marion (Rosemary) Hall, Kenneth Jason (Rebecca) Hall, Amanda (Lewis) Kiser, Kristopher Logan (Dee) Hall, and Esta Nicole (Brent) Griffith; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, twelve step grand-children,; eleven step great-grandchildren; a step great-great-grandchild; a sister; Shirley Minor of Olive Hill; three brothers, Marcus (Jo Carla) McCleese of Olive Hill, Marshall (Barbara) McCleese of Alabama and Lloyd (Ruth Ann) McCleese of Mt. Sterling; and a host of nieces, nephews that will miss her dearly.   

Funeral services will be 7:30 pm Wednesday February 2, 2022 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson.   Visitation will be 6-9 pm Wednesday.   Cremation will follow services with a celebration of life service held at a later date at her residence on Fultz Fork.  Condolences may be sent to the family at http://www.malonefuneralhome.com
