Mrs. Beveralee Sparks McGlone, age 62, of Olive Hill, Kentucky passed away Monday, August 28, 2023 at her daughter’s residence.
She was born Wednesday, January 4, 1961, in Carter County, Kentucky a daughter of the late Joseph and Emma Howard Sparks.
Beveralee enjoyed working in her flowers, gardening, going to Tennessee, going out to eat, yardsales, talking on the phone with her brothers and sisters and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years, Verlin Ray McGlone; four brothers, Bob Sparks, Bud Sparks, Dean Sparks and Chuck Sparks; two sisters, Geneva McGlone and Rosie Grigson.
She is survived by two sons, Scott (Rachel) McGlone of Morehead, Kentucky, Kevin (Kim) McGlone of Olive Hill, Kentucky; three daughters, Amanda (David) Willoughby of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Mary Sparks of Greenup, Kentucky, Jamie McGlone of Olive Hill, Kentucky; ten grandchildren, Tyler McGlone, Hailey Jenkins, April Willoughby, Blake McGlone, Logan Willoughby, Kelsey McGlone, Mason McGlone, Devin Willoughby, Lucas Knipp and Jade Knipp; two brothers, Thomas (Judy) Sparks of Vanceburg, Kentucky and Vernon (Sarah) Sparks of Olive Hill, Kentucky; three sisters, Beth (Junior) McGlone, Carolyn Pyle all of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Freda (Daniel) Roe of Richmond, Kentucky, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Friday, September 1, 2023, at Globe Funeral Chapel with Brother Ronald Logan and Brother Darryl Wilburn officiating. Burial will follow in the Alexis McGlone Cemetery on Jordan Fork.
Friends may visit after 11:30 a.m., Friday, September 1, 2023 until the service hour at Globe Funeral Chapel.
Tyler McGlone, Blake McGlone, Mason McGlone, Logan Willoughby, Vernon Sparks and Mikie Chapin will serve as pallbearers.
